Expanding into May
After a season that demanded so much inward turning, May offers a different invitation: to expand. I’ve been sitting with a thread from The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali that talks about how steadiness creates support, and when effort softens, space begins to emerge (Sutras 2.46 & 2.47). Coherence in Practice
In the Bhagavad Gita, steadiness is described as acting from presence rather than reactivity, and remaining connected to the Self even during strong emotion or difficult action.
